Hi guys I am from South Africa, I have build a few Artesania model ships, but always just used (cyno Bond) I think its called CA glue? I want to use wood glue for my next model , but i have no idea what glue to use and how it works, for example putting 2 pieces of wood together does it dry quick or how do you guys do it? Sorry I am still new to this Thanks

Hi Chappy For most wooden models PVA wood glue is recommended but the best wood glue to get is Aliphatic as it has better penetration into the joints than standard PVA. A good aliphatic glue should grab in around 30 mins but should be left until fully set before removing any clamps, Pva will take longer to grab than aliphatic but it will not be instant like superglue. I have added a page from fleabay so you can get an idea what to look for where you live:- https://www.ebay.co.uk/s...+glue&ul_noapp=true
Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

One to use Titebond II, nice tip design clamp for 30 minutes cleans up easy one to avoidgorilla wood glue (brown in color) hard to control flow, takes way to long to set if too much is used NOW - Building SWIFT 1805
long term goal "USS Constitution" completed "Fair a Frame" by Model Shipways
