Issue 94 includes the microcontroller unit (MCU) that acts as R2-D2’s ‘brain’.
It is equipped with sockets into which all his sensors, motors, displays, other electronics, and power supply will be plugged.
The MCU’s circuit board is pre-installed in a housing that will protect it from damage or electrical interference.

Hi Tomick, Do you know if the MCU housing is completely shielded? or is it a plastic casing? Thanks in advance 👍

Hi Tomick, Do you know if the MCU housing is completely shielded? or is it a plastic casing? Thanks in advance 👍 The manufacturer info states that the MCU is within a factory fitted case that protects it from damage or electrical interference, therefore is shielded.
