It's that time of the month! Issues 66, 67, 68 and 69 now completed. Only problem I had this month was screwing in one of those tiny plastic allen pins - it it's anbout half way in and I can't bet it to budge any further. Don't think it'll be an issue. I also have another issue with I'll be posting about shortly. LSainsbury attached the following image(s):

Hi LSainsbury You will have three spare allen heads once they are all fitted into the Dome so one of those can replace the problem one. It also looks like your missing a countersunk hole in the frame parts contact C/S for a replacement. Looking good. Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Happy May 2018! Another update from my R2D2 Build... Issues 70,71,72 and 73 have arrived - along with a replacement issue 67 as I was missing a countersunk hole in one of the plates. LSainsbury attached the following image(s):

I had some issues screwing in the plastic allen pins, if you pop them in the freezer for 10 mins or so they shrink slightly and are easier to screw in. Iβm having issues with the spacer rods that donβt have any thread to screw into, so thatβs been reported to C/S. Also the miss coloured back panel BP-07 that doesnβt line up correctly without leaving a gap at the bottom and a step at the top. I just canβt get it to line up no matter how I try, so Iβve also requested a replacement part.

Issues 74,75,76 and 77: Received my replacement issue 68 panel but it still looks a bit off. The white on the inside is more white than outside. It's a better fit though but still has a bit of step at the top. LSainsbury attached the following image(s):

arpurchase wrote: Looking good and starting to come together now Yes - my screw issue was that I used some long black - think they were 11mm screws to attach the small hinges to the tool door. The actual tools are using the correct long half threaded screws - I'm sure there should have been two more for those hinges. Can you confirm what the correct screws should be?

If you check the official build diary for issue 78 it confirms what screws are to be used for this part of the assembly. Always check the official build if you are unsure of something. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
