Well she's finally finished. At times she has be a frustrating build, but we got there in the end. There were parts of the build i thoroughly enjoyed (learning to airbrush, using 'bluetac' to define the camouflage, etc), and parts i loathed (the etched parts were very frustrating as there was nothing to form it to). The kit, itself, is long overdue for an update with modern tooling. It needs to be updated as this is a fascinating subject worthy of a good kit, so here's hoping . Even at 1/72 scale this model is HUGE, so if you fancy having a go at building this one...first make sure you have the room! Anyway, this build is my entry for the RAF 100 Year build competition, and here's to another 100 years! I wanted to photo it to give the impression of speed, but the backdrop didn't come in time, so excuse the boring background Thank you for looking in, and good luck to one and all who entered this competition.
