They had a test run in Germany earlier this year for a Warhammer 40k partwork. Not sure who the publisher was. EDIT: Ah, Hachette. Looks like the UK had a test run also. http://www.warhammer40000conquest.com/

Games workshop has had a spotty history in USA.There have bee a ton of complaints about the cost of the models and the CHinese copies of their kits are a fraction of the price. The paints are awesome, but again I think they are overpriced. The instructions for their early kits were awful.

Hachette started a collection of Warhammer 40K novels back in late 2016 that is still going today with issue 50 being sent out last month. So perhaps the partwork will take off. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

God, I hope not. Although the quality of the models has improved over the years, the prices [for a 'legal' WH40K army] are astronomical. It's why I, as an adult earning a decent wage, gave up on them. That and their frankly Dick Dastardly policies. New model for a new unit, great stats and something that players of that army have been waiting for, got up to £50-£70 PER MODEL, with the army list stating you could field 0-3 and the best bonuses being for fielding 3 of them. Making independents order minimums of new items to keep their status, then keeping 75% of production for their own stores and web shop, causing many to receive none of the new items. Oh, and Arpurchase, I don't doubt they are saying their profits are up, but what about their sales? Because if sales are declining but profits are up, there's only one way to do that and it won't last forever! Current Builds Eaglemoss: Ecto-1, BTTF Delorean [Installing Mods] Hachette: T800 Endoskeleton Agora Models Shelby Cobra 427 [Plate 031] BanDai 1:5000 Imperial Star Destroyer AMT 1991 U.S.S. Enterprise Bridge [Installing Mods & Lights]
Finished Builds Deagostini: R2-D2 [Never getting batteries]
