But I also asked what it means for month 18 and was told that once (if?) month 17 ships, then month 18 would automatically wait a month before shipping - but that I could call and ask that it be moved up. Having said that, she also told me that month 18 parts weren't in yet. Man, I really hope this is just a planning or supplier error and not a long-winded way to drop the R2D2 model. If the US does drop the model, I wonder if we could pick it up from the UK? Rest assured, R2-D2 is not being dropped in the USA or anywhere else. what i do not understand is this: the company has charged customer for a product, the company has our email addresses to notify us of charges and shipment of goods. but when this delay has held back shipping for more than a week (a month now) the company did not email the customers to advise us of the delay. the company should at the least have done that as part of standard operations. second: most companies that ship goods only place what is known was an "auth hold" on a credit card when they start to prepare for an order shipment and close the auth hold when they have a confirmation from the where house that the box is packed, has a shipping label and is going out the door. that way if the box does not get packed on time the company does not collect any funds from the customer and the customer does not have credit used with no product in hand. this company should do both things, it would go a long way to reducing call emails and forum complaints about this stuff. i see the new x-wing starting and i have to say that given the things that have happend in the past it makes it very hard for me to feel like i want to give the company more of my money. sorry but someone is failing to do some basic management and it shows. i call them and all i get is that they have no idea what to do. no manager / supervisor on duty in the call center. "just wait and we will ship it soon" worthless.

ok let's clarifiy this: i was charged on july 2nd 2018 -- so my total time waiting for anything to happen has been more than 30 days. i gave them time and called customer service in july on the 16th at 12:48 pm local time. i was told that they were getting the packages shipped out very soon, just give it a few days. so i have been told the same story more than one time and over a 3 week period. i did not bother the company for 2 weeks in good faith that they would get things shipped. it has now been 38 days i have been waiting for the package. i will also mention that it has been over a month on my other project the ford mustang, last shipped on june 28th i am also going to have to start asking what happened to that as it should have shipped between july 28th and today. i have not seen any posts about problems with that kit so i do not know what is going on. again, the company has my contact info and the history of what they have shipped and is not keeping track of things. when i called the last time i asked for a manager so that i could address this with someone who could act on this but i was told that no managers were in the office. i guess i can find out what the corporate office phone numbers are and stop dealing with a call center that has no managers.

Here in Canada I was told my orders were in stock but there is a warehouse shipping issue. I have 2 subs and have paid for July and Aug plus billed twice for one of my Aug. I have paid over $500.00 in the last month and have received nothing. I have called CS (Daisy) 3 times, 1st time I was told about shipping problem and she said I would not be billed this month. The 2nd time theres still a warehouse problem. The 3rd time I told her I wanted to speak with a manager (regarding double payment and not shipping) but all she can is request they call me back when they have the time. I have also contacted them through site and emails back say its a warehouse shipping problem. The place my shipments come from is an hour drive from my house. As I pay for shipping it should be quit easy to get items to me by courier. If you can not meet demand then stop selling and putting full kits on sale until you can.

I'm also in Canada and have been told my issues are in stock and have been for a month but the warehouse problem has delayed them. Twice over the course of the month I was told the issues would ship in a week or two and as we enter week 5 since being charged nothing has shipped yet. I don't know what this warehouse problem is but it doesn't inspire much confidence in future issues and models if an in stock item takes more than a month to ship.
