The third panel fitted. It proved very time consuming getting the different diameters to align. Lots of gentle bending by hand, check for fit, re-bend and so on.

Good morning from 'The Dockyard'.

This week's update continues with the scratch building of the conning tower lower deck on my 1/48 scale model of U-boat U230.

The attached photo shows a further panel fitted on the port side, connecting the base with the lower deck.
