I'm having a HELL of a time with these things because of them being plastic and the allen key can't keep a good enough grip it seems. I am wanting to look at getting some metal ones, but need to know the size to get. I am in the U.S. so a standard size (non metric) would be appreciated. If not, I can probably pick up the correct metric size on Amazon.

Thanks in advance!

Hi I would recommend getting replacement one's from C/S as being nylon they are designed to hold the dome in position without damaging it. The use of metal ones will more than likely dent the dome and make it look unsightly. Also the use of non supplied parts could void the warranty.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

These will fit the hole, not sure on length but think they'll work.

you are talking about the ones that go on the inside right ??

I thought they were non metal to mount some parts without electronic contact ?

if they are locking the metal dome in place that is interesting
seems like several parts are all holding it on like the sensor sockets and the blue eye part and the top dome disc.

figuerres, no they just push out against the taped on panels to hold them in place.

Yeah after i looked at the head i see that now....

interesting how that all got designed, i know when i started using the tape i thought about it coming lose later etc... when i first saw the nuts i thought it had to do with final mounting of other parts inside the head, did not see that the ends of the nuts come out to the outside of the inner head frame.

I ended up with at least 3 spares and I replaced 1 myself. Surely someone closer than I am could just send you some spares.
