have had only a little time on this build (Property move with the necessary improvements/updating have taken priority). Nearly completed the engine and have started on the tender. the engine as you will see in the picture has a lot of parts the "stick out" and are therefore very easy to dislodge and have to be re glued. There will be some touching up of the paintwork required. Bending the pipework to fit was "interesting" I don't remember having the same problems when I built the Jupiter. I did not use the copper/brass wire provided with the build but brass rods which I already had. I could not get a good look with provided wire. It was not easy to get the kinks out of the coil, I think the rods look better. More to follow soonish GilShapley attached the following image(s): Current Build:- [color=blue]Stash Avro Lancaster (Full Kit)plus some extra issues I picked up at a good price [color=blue]Built:- Norman Catapult by Mantua,Roman Catapult by Mantua,HMS Victory,HMS Victory XSection,Focker DB1,Bismark,English Carronade Titanic Lifeboat,American Civil War Gatling,Hummer,Sopwith Camel F1,Occre Jupiter ,OcCre Wagon, Latina Arab Dhow, Eaglemass Orrery OcCre Rogers 119 [color=red][color=red]RB7,OcCre Missippi River Boat, Model Airways Fokker DR1 OcCre London L>C>C 106 Ugears Scrambler, Ugears Hexapod Explorer UGears Off-Road Vehicle

Finally finished the Locomotive now on with the tender. Have sprayed most of the parts and can begin the assembly. Will post pictures as that part of the build proceeds. I have not glued on the cab roof as I want to be able to remove it so that the details of the interior can be seen clearly. This has been a slow build due to my moving. Its seems thing like decorating and installing new kitchens take priority. Still a happy wife means a quiet life Just finishing the tender and Oopps it seems that when I assembled the base I forgot to install the retaining nut for the front bogies. Thought I might need to deconstruct part of the build but with a bit of lateral thinking I have resolved the problem. Drilling a 6mm hole in the top of the box I was able to install the retaining nut and attach the bogies. Will soon be finished and will post more pictures Now you see it, then you dont GilShapley attached the following image(s): Current Build:- [color=blue]Stash Avro Lancaster (Full Kit)plus some extra issues I picked up at a good price [color=blue]Built:- Norman Catapult by Mantua,Roman Catapult by Mantua,HMS Victory,HMS Victory XSection,Focker DB1,Bismark,English Carronade Titanic Lifeboat,American Civil War Gatling,Hummer,Sopwith Camel F1,Occre Jupiter ,OcCre Wagon, Latina Arab Dhow, Eaglemass Orrery OcCre Rogers 119 [color=red][color=red]RB7,OcCre Missippi River Boat, Model Airways Fokker DR1 OcCre London L>C>C 106 Ugears Scrambler, Ugears Hexapod Explorer UGears Off-Road Vehicle

Finally I have completed this build. The Rogers 119 was one of the trains in the "Golden Spike" ceremony. In May 1869 the Union and the Central Pacific railways joined tracks at Promontory point. Leland Stanford hammered in the final spike to complete the track. This spike was made of gold. The build instruction provided by OcCre are a "challenge" but having built several of their kits I was prepared. Having said that their customer service is one of the best I have seen. Missing, broken or replacement parts are sent by return with never any quibble. I have not glued on the roof of the cab so that this can be removed to display the inside of the cab. The interior is comprehensive and it would be a pity to hide the work involved. I have included a picture of the Jupiter and the Rogers 119 together and no that is not the fat controller but my tribute to Leland Stanford Pictures attached GilShapley attached the following image(s): Current Build:- [color=blue]Stash Avro Lancaster (Full Kit)plus some extra issues I picked up at a good price [color=blue]Built:- Norman Catapult by Mantua,Roman Catapult by Mantua,HMS Victory,HMS Victory XSection,Focker DB1,Bismark,English Carronade Titanic Lifeboat,American Civil War Gatling,Hummer,Sopwith Camel F1,Occre Jupiter ,OcCre Wagon, Latina Arab Dhow, Eaglemass Orrery OcCre Rogers 119 [color=red][color=red]RB7,OcCre Missippi River Boat, Model Airways Fokker DR1 OcCre London L>C>C 106 Ugears Scrambler, Ugears Hexapod Explorer UGears Off-Road Vehicle
