Good evening from 'The Dockyard'. This weeks update continues with scratch building conning tower modifications of my 1/48 scale model of u-boat U230. The next phase is to build the upper deck. To start with i had to square off the original angled profile by fitting 'filler pieces' made of 0.5mm thick plastic sheet. The attached photo shows these 'filler pieces' being marked out.
