Not got those issues yet, despite being a subscriber, so thanks for the heads-up. Think I'll still install those 'copper/brass' parts on the inners for a while so that I don't stress the paint too much as I install them, don't get why they didn't make them the correct colour in the first place though.

Wonderful build, and an excellent blog. I continue to wait with interest for the next instalment.

P.S. If it wasn't for external influences for the next 2 weekends, you'd have convinced me to go back and add to my blog py getting round to painting my engine and completing the installation of it!

So i have built up 84,85,86.87. which is the Engine compartment here adding extra detail wiring bit of painting ,then on to the over head array here adding aluminium foil extra wiring and the sun visors pins were replaced with some correct size rod so they don`t wobble,i have not added them to the car as i have a few more bits too do more soon PhilCool

Wonderful build Phil. Nice to see the level of detail you are putting up there. Do you mind telling us the size of the rod you used for the sun visors? I want to make the same 'modification' and it'll save me quite a bit of work.

PS, I still don't have issues 80-83 yet. Got 84-87, just no 80-83. Think I'm going to have to get in contact with CS again if they're not here by the weekend.

so i made some pipes for the torpedos out of brass rod plastic rod and heat shrink and paintedBigGrin then added some decals to the expansion tank and inside the engine lidCool then i got the excellent decal set 2 which has decals for the clock near the gear lever, discs for the screw holes on the seats and inside the doors, also vin plate on the dash,and a lovely one for the christmas treeBigGrin there is a couple more to add to the inside of the door and the rest of the door trim BigGrin regards PhilCool
