Not long now to the end of the build. I can't wait to have a little R2 moving around the house So onto the next issues of the build. Issue 89In this issue we get the following parts. Issue 91aWe get the following in this issue, the base for the centre foot, centre foot sensor, a castor, micro switch, cable tidies, leg pivot cover and more screws & nuts. Attach the micro switches to the foot base, then add the sensor. Secure the micro switches in place. Attach the castor and secure with a washer, spring washer and nut. Take both sides of the centre foot from issues 89 & 90, with the base in this issue. Thread the wires through the foot support then attach to one side of the centre foot. Add the details and the bumper bar then close both sides of the foot and screw together. Fit the base to both parts of the foot and screw into place. Issue 91bTake both completed legs, the cable tidies and the body frame. Wind the cable tides around the wires. Then tread the wires through each shoulder joint in the body frame and attach them. Attach the leg pivot cover to both legs. Take the base from issue 88 and attach to the bottom of the body frame. Then attach the centre leg to the bottom. Issue 93In this issue we get the following, circuit board cover, circuit board bracket and battery box bracket. Take the main R2 assembly and attach the battery bracket into the body at the bottom. Then take the circuit board from issue 52 and the circuit board cover, and place the circuit board into the cover and secure with self tapping screws. Attach to the circuit board bracket and place into the body frame above the battery bracket. Ritchie69 attached the following image(s): Completed - R2D2
