Stage 64. Tested LED lights, installed them into wheel boxes. Stoppers fit just fine. Also used Davetwin's (thanks!) to attach air intake hoses with superglue, they hold much better now. Attached tail panel to the wheel boxes and inserted boot cover lining. Attached the stay at its other end. This was a rather simple stage, took a little over an hour. Stage 20 to follow soon. Fellow DeAgostini modelers, It's been a while since my previous post, due to expanding business and family commitments. Finally, during seasonally slow August, I was able to finish putting together my Lamborghini Countach model. Those who were following my assembly blog will remember that it has a superdetailed engine, front trunk compartment, suspension & cabin, also several custom stickers and attendant paraphernalia. Please see below my completed model with all the regalia. I've ordered a mirrored-base acrylic display case (24" x 24" x 15" inside) and it should look marvelous! Thanks for all your support and encouragement, kind words and advice! And thanks also to an anonymous Japanese modeler whose blog (which I can no longer find, unfortunately) has inspired me to create this model. Next planned projects: Easy Rider bike and maybe Rossi's Yamaha, although Jaguar E-Type is also very tempting. My wife says we need to get an even bigger house just to display all my models & the Japanese art collection :-) All the very best to you all!
