I'm new to the forums but have been working on DeAgostini projects since July 2017 when I started the countach. I'm finished with month 10 of the Porsche 911 and have an issue with the test fit. I don't think the front is sitting flush, there is a gap between the very front end of the car and the chassis of about 2-3mm. I can press either side into place but the chassis is catching on something in the middle (see photos). This is causing a gap between the chassis and the body behind the front wheels too. Is anyone else having this issue?  ^Gap between the chassis and body, body not seated fully^  ^Gap between the chassis and body, body not seated fully^  ^I can get both sides of the front to seat, but not at the same time^

There's a huge amount of wiring in this model. Check there's none in the way anywhere. I carefully bundled my wiring up and taped it all down wherever I could. The body went on fine. Have a look at pack 12 in my custom build... https://forum.model-spac...aspx?g=posts&t=29664

Firstly, welcome to the forum. Check all wiring is out of the way also check the dash board is seated correctly on the inside of the doors as this can hold it out.
As for the gap at the front , this is normal.

Thanks for the replies, I'll have a look at the suggestions. As for the gap at the front, I was referring to the vertical gap between the screw holes and the posts they're supposed to sit over.
It may be that wires are in the way though.
I'll post an update when I figure it out.

Also, bear in mind it's a kit - not a real car. (No sarcasm intended)
When you fix the screws, it may well just pull all the parts into place.
My Eaglemoss DB5 was like that.
Nothing seemed to fit, until you tightened the screws.
