I would like to introduce myself; I have been following the forum for about 6 months now just picking up has much information and pit falls as I can. I have started work on H.M.S. Victory about 8 months ago. This is my first wooden model I have ever attempted and the reason I picked it was because of the wealth of information that is available for the build. I found a kit on Ebay that was just started with the frame and about half the rib completed I was told it was complete kit well it was not. I got it for a good price but about 20% was missing. I called ModelSpace they could replace the missing stages. I took an inventory of what was missing and just before I made the phone call I check Ebay and found another complete Kit with the tools, paint, stand and copper plates. For just a little more than it would cost me for the replacement parts. I could not pass it up.I am currently at stage 26 as soon I figure out how to post Pic I will.

Welcome to the forum Willie.  You are correct that there is a wealth of knowledge here on the forum and feel free to ask any questions you may have and someone will assist as soon as possible.
