Good day everyone: I have come across a situation that I am not sure if should be worried about or not. In the center of the ship I have developed a 1 MM gap open up on my planking. I have the same gap on both sides. I can easily push it down and I know that the tops of the ribs will be trimmed. I watched the video and it did not look he had that gap. What do you think? Hi there Willie! Personally I wouldn't worry too much, if you can push it down easily do that and pin and glue. The planks normally follow the curve of the hull rather than going completely straight and level and with all double planked hulls, its the second finishing layer that counts more. Robin. All looking good, very neat and tidy. As for the plank, you can push it down, pin and glue. I don't see it causing you a problem.... Regards Alan
