I don’t ever remember being told, or reading that it will be completed by Christmas 2018.

I had originally calculated the end of January for me (my subscription started from issues 2 & 3. As time went on the delivery started ‘slipping’ in my favour, with the delivery date getting earlier each month.

I recalculated that the final issues will be in December (yay)... now probably back to January

No big deal in my opinion, thats what I had initially thought when I first started subscribing anyway.

Just sit back for a moment and think about the 100s of parts we have received since the beginning- it must be a huge logistical headache, and if only one thing is delayed, or broken, it could send the whole build back by weeks. Let alone sending it out X amount of times for each subscriber... worldwide!

So, thank you Deagastini, I have had an amazing time building R2D2, I feel part of a wider community in this, and I/we can’t wait to see him operational.

Cool

It's more a case that those of us who have the delay and have been getting deliveries at the same time as everybody else up until now - see other subscribers getting their deliveries on the normal dates, whereas we (through no fault of our own other than an unknown random reason) are in the position where we have to wait several more weeks & keep calling c/s to chase up deliveries.

This isn't DeAg's first rodeo, they're more than capable of handling the logistics of 100's of parts to thousands of subscribers - it's kinda what they do, so it surely isn't beyond them to send things out all at the same time (as they have been doing with us since Jan 2016).

It's fine that one delivery was delayed - it happens, but surely that shouldn't have a knock on effect for the remaining issues, all we ask is that we get back on track & treated the same as every other subscriber - we're all paying the same £875ish for R2, we should all get the same level of service!

Have you actually questioned c/s about this or c/s supervisor?

Its more the fact that that they split the subscriber base. All those who started at issue 1 we not sent a late delivery due to issue 92, they were given a substitue issue instead. And they are now starting to receive novembers delivery. Everyone who started on issue 2 has been out back 3-4 weeks as a result of issue 92. Thats what i was getting at. Not particularly fair, and almost feel penalised for starting infront. If you start on a later issue at the same time as everyone else, and every single delivery has been at the same rough time as everyone else, you dont expect to be pit back because of their internal issues. Also handling a few thousand parts worldwide is nothing, especially for a company that does that as their job...... i work for a company that deals with 36 MILLION parts being shipped all over the world. Yes we get the odd problem here and there, and if a customer complaints due to a late delivery, there are hefty fines ensued upon us. So i feel we are well within our rights to complain and air our feelings. I have also called C/S several times over the last 2 weeks and been told several different stories as to what is going on, from issues are bot in stock, deliveries are being allocated in the next few days and nothing happens, my delivey time is the end of the month not the beginning (yet the last 23 deliveries have all been within the 1st half of the month) it's a joke.

I have called several times, and spoke to a supervisor who was rather rude and said nothing could be done and hung up on me. Gave no name or anything. Line was extremely terrible as usual and could barely hear or understand a word being said. When a company treats you like this you start to feel angry and fustrated. As coldsweat said, all we want is our deliveries back at the same time as every other subscriber. We are paying close to £900 and being treated like dirt.

i will say that in my calls i have had some folks who were nice and easy to understand. others who had strong accents and seemed like they were not as good.
( i do not care where you are from or have an accent as long as you get it right)
some were less helpfull , some more.
so perhaps a bit uneven in how well they handle the calls.

its not so much the accent or anything at all, as generally in the past when ive had to call for a couple of replacements (i had 1 issue where the plastic parts looked like they were all melted inside the bag) they have generally been quite helpful and polite. the line has always been the same though, talking is bearly hearable, as in quiet, and a lot of scratchy sort of noises, and wierd noise that sounds like they re standing behind an aeroplane taking off. but that 1 tie last week when i asked for a suervisor, they were very blunt, abrupt, rude, adamant that my delivery has always been the end of the month, i referred them to check my account that has all the dates logged, and they have all been roughly 4-5 or so weeks appart. then october went to nearly 9 weeks gap, there was some grunting, some inaudiable muttering and they hung up.
