Rear windows looked at today,

so having seen Roy recommended Blacking the area between the window and interior pannel I agreed with his findings, however I didn't like the finish a 'sharpie' gave - it had too mush of a gloss sheen to it, so after a bit of head scratching I ended up using Black electrical tape, and its a good match to the interior panel so I'm happy with how this has turned out.

thanks for looking (if indeed you are in the forgotten garage of the model space forum :) )

Rich.

Don't worry Rich.

I found long ago, that many people look in on builds but they don't always post a comment. I'm just as bad.

Looking really good. Keep it coming.

Roy.

Hi, enjoyed reading your pictures. I am at about the same stage in my build but having trouble getting the boot/bonnet lid to seat and cannot figure out how the lock mechanism works. I have posted my problem separately but cannot post pictures due to a technicality. Any help would be appreciated. Mike

As far as i can tell the lock isn't really a lock, it just shuts and the button from under the car pops the bonnet up a little bit so you can open it, but it doen't release a catch as such.

not sure without pictures what I can say to help with the lining up - i just followed the instructions and it all went fine. if you were able to post a picture maybe I could see the problem.

thanks
Rich.

Satge 11 aka Last chance to win best model space diary of the month - lol no chance of that :)

so this stage is all about the doors, unfortunately more ghost screws, but thankfully not enough to mess the build up.

pictures show complete left door and test fitting of door and body to chassis.

thanks for looking

Good question Al, I've enjoyed the Porsche build very much, needs some thought as I really need to like the subject if I'm going to invest the time and money into another 12 month part works - its a shame the Lancia delta isn't a Modelspace kit.

to any one thats wondering why there hasn't been any updates,

well 2 reasons, one the delivery of stages just got later and later until a 12 month subscription basically became a 13 plus month subscription.

and now I'm waiting for replacement parts - the boot lid had paint blemishes.

and lastly the correct rear tyre promised in either issue 10 or 12 never materialised and I'm having difficulty getting straight answers from model space on when it's likely to arrive.

I'll post up when I have the parts required to finish the model.

thanks for looking in

Rich.
