Imperial Yacht Standart, Pack 2, Stages 6 -15
Stage 6
Stage 6 contents:- Deck section and frames.
Take the deck section and test fit it at the bow make any adjustments if needed and then glue the deck in position.
Next take the third false keel and test fit the frames to it, adjust if needed and then glue in place making sure the frames are at right angles to the false keel.
Stage complete.

Stage 7
Stage 7 contents:- work stand base and frames.
Take the two frames test fit them to the third false keel and glue them in position making sure they are at right angles to the keel.
Take the bow section and add a reinforcement just behind frame 8 and is flush with the top of the false keel then allow to dry.
Stage complete.

Stage 8
Stage 8 contents:- Work stand supports and anchor parts.
Test fit the support parts, adjust if needed and then glue them together. Test fit the assembly you just made in the work stand base you received in stage 7 . Make adjustments if needed and then glue the parts together. When dry you can test fit the bow section onto the stand by placing the tab on the false keel into the central hole of the work stand.
Take the two anchors and the shank ,clean any burrs off the parts and then fit the shank to one of the anchors. When the glue is dry paint both of the anchors with matt black paint.

Stage 9
Stage9 contents:- Work stand base and deck sections.
Take the work stand base from the last stage and the one included in this stage . Remove the four oblong blocks from both bases. Test fit the two base panels and adjust the fit if needed then glue them together. Next take two of the oblong blocks and use them to strengthen the joint by placing them on either side and flush with the edges of the work stand.
Next take the third false keel section and test fit it to the bow assembly. Adjust the fit if needed then glue them together adding another reinforcement to the open side of the joint. Make sure the keel sections run flat when placed on a straight edge and then leave to dry.
Stage complete.

Stage 10
Stage 10 contents :- Work stand base, keel reinforcements and the stern false keel.
Take the work stand base from the previous stage and add the base provided with this stage to it. Again strengthening the joint with the oblong blocks. When dry test fit the main assembly onto the work stand.
Attach a reinforcement to the false keel behind frame 12 making sure it is flush with the top of the false keel. When dry attach the stern false keel to the assembly using the last reinforcement block to cover the open side and leave to dry.
Stage complete.

Stage 11
Stage 11 contents:- work base section and frames.
Take the work base section and fit it to the work base already assembled using the blocks to reinforce the joints. When dry test fit the keel onto the assembly just made.
Next dry fit the two frames onto the keel and adjust the fit if needed . Glue the frames in position making sure they are at right angles to the keel.
Stage complete.

Stage 12
Stage 12 contents:- Work stand base and frames.
Take the work stand base and attach it in the same way to the assembly made in the last stage. Test fit the main assembly into the base.
Take the frames and dry fit them in position. Adjust if needed and then glue them in position making sure the frames are at right angles to the keel.
Stage complete.

Stage 13
Stage 13 contents:- Deck sections, davit and a ventilator.
Take the lower deck section and dry fit it to the frames and false keel adjust the fit if needed. Then glue the lower deck in position.
Next take the upper deck section and adjust its fit if needed and then glue the deck section in place.
Stage complete.

Stage 14
Stage 14 contents:- Deck section, strip of wood and a whaleboat.
Take the deck section and test fit it to the keel assembly, adjust if needed and then glue it in place.
Prepare the whaleboat for painting then paint the outside white and the inside black. When the paint is dry mask off the lower part of the boat and paint the uppers copper in the same way you prepared the other boat you have already made. Use wood stain to stain the wood strip and then add the thwarts to the inside of the whaleboat.

Stage 15
Stage 15 contents:- Work stand base, work stand supports and a davit.
Make up the support parts and add it to the base provided in this stage then attach the assembly to the work stand already made. Once the work stand assembly is dry test fit the hull assembly into the stand. The tabs on the false keel should all fit into the holes and the bow and stern sections should fit into the work stand supports.
Take the davit from stage 13 and the one provided with this stage, clean any burrs from the castings and then paint both the davits white.
