I have seen on other builds that to get the wires in to the center thruster they have cut the main support rod short and made a support out of mdf. To me this takes up space so I got the dremel out and cut a slot in the rod that allows the wires to go through, saves space and weight and allows the support rod to do its job. I have also now glued the back half of the spine to the propulsion unit and made up the stands. Nemesis attached the following image(s):

The back of the command sphere is now finished, I am now waiting on delivery of some extra detailing parts before I can make a start on the flight deck and pod bay. In the mean time I will be starting on the wires for the thruster lighting. Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Rear section is now completed with all the modules, 9 more to go for the front and I can start with some paint and wiring. Nemesis attached the following image(s):

A soldering we go! Led's are now soldered with resistors and heat shrink used on the positive sides. Fitted into the thrusters which have been fitted also. When I am 100 percent happy the led's will be secured in the correct place with a hot glue gun and then the grills will be fitted.Nemesis attached the following image(s):

A little bit of painting today. White primed the interior parts for the cockpit and black primed the inside of the command sphere and the outside of the thrusters for light blocking, the led's show through this plastic quite heavily! I have also fitted the pe outer airlock door and controls to the command sphere. Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Just a small update today, control panel for the cockpit is finished. just waiting for the lighting kit to arrive. Next up will be the decals for the cockpit and and the rest of the lighting. Really enjoying this! Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Nice work Nem.I used Pico smds for the cockpit panel.They fit into the slots underneath the part.
