Hi,i am new to all this so could anyone tell me if the wood stock of the anchor was painted same as cannons in yellow ochre,Thanks.

The anchore is actualy two different blacks. The timber parts are a flat dull black and the iron a slightly more satin finish. sorry to barge in Jase but I thought the timber on the anchors where a varnish brown or something also would you know the size of the hole on the metal part because the manufacture did not punch out the hole all the way there is a tiny piece of metal protuding out of the other side and would like to drill out the hole correctly thank you Ronald

 Hi Ronald if you measure the ring that goes through the hole the hole just needs to be slightly bigger. Start with a small drill and slowly get bigger while checking the fit . Since we are on the subject of anchors I was wondering would it be acturate and ok if I put two bands on the loose ends of the moreing lines I saw someone do it on a victory build post thank you Ronald
