I've found the problem, The button + end of the battery's are not making contact with the battery box so I had to bridge the 0.000001mm with some thick copper wire now he's working a treat😉

Have to agree, not something I would do with these kind of batteries.... In addition, making these kind of modifications to your R2 could invalidate your warranty should something untoward happen. You can actually buy battery button top magnets which would be safer as they would remain in place.

I'm using genuine sanyo/Panasonic 18650 3500mha so there not copy's or cheap to buy

Some button top cells dont have tall enough buttons but more short nipples. These are no good for what we need, but what the problem is with buying online is that both button and nipple are all sold as the same. These batteries are usually used in high power torches and things with a simple contact at each end. Our battery pack has been designed in such a way to prevent them been fitted the wrong way around, but we need cells with full sized to fit through the slot and reach the contact. You could grind out the bits of plastic at the positive end so the battery will be fully pushed up to the contact by the spring on the negative end. A safer and simpler solution. You would have to be extremely careful in the future replacing them that they are fitted the correct way around. Building:

I've ordered some magnetic battery caps to extend the + cap so should be a snug fit
