Starting at the rear of the conning tower and using my prototype based method, i proceeded to 'thread' brackets along a pre-cut length of the brass rod / handrail and inserted each bracket into it's allocated hole.

This photo shows a piece of 0.5mm thick plastic sheet being inserted behind the handrail to act as a spacer to keep it at a uniform distance around the curved profile of the lower deck.

As before, a similar type of spacer being used to ensure the handrail is at a uniform distance all the way around.
