Hi.
Can anyone confirm if their Matrix lights on the Dome light up whilst R2 is powered up, do they come on in Patrol Mode, are on during standby.
I’ve seen a few videos now of these lights not powered up

If I remember rightly and don't quote me in this but I seem to remember reading somewhere that they only come on when connected to WiFi. As I say I am not 100% sure of this though.

R2-D2 needs to be connected to a Smartphone to get R2 to perform all of it’s functions.
The Issue 6 LCD screen and the Issue 22 Logic function display LCD are only functional/switched on in App mode, they are not functional in Manual mode.

I think it's a shame that they don't work all of the time, as they are one of the things that make R2.... R2.
I also can't fathom why the sensors are deactivated in manual mode - If this thing falls down the stairs due to the app crashing or an iD10t error that's going to be game over for the droid!

Shame we don't have the option to change that in setting , he's not the same without them SOME MORNINGS IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM WORTH IT TO GNAW THROUGH THE LEATHER STRAPS
