Screws for front brake unit (issues 10-11) Options

I've been struggling with the screws on the uprights and the suspension arm to the lower upright. They don't go in anywhere near as far as expect they would, and i can't tighten them any further because i'd ruin the screws.

Then i took a look at the official build diary and saw that his appear very similar to mine in this one photo atleast: http://forum.model-space...uk/resource.ashx?a=2187

So is this just normal? Do i carry on building with the screws mostly out like that?

Hey Matkins . My screws went in compleatly , I did put a bit of washing up liquid on them first . Plus i got a oo size screw driver it did help .

My photo show's the screw locations, both screws need to be inserted fully as per th photo at step 3 of the magazine. If your struggling, possibly try a little lubricant on the screw shaft

I keep a pot of Vaseline by my workbench & dip the tip of each thread in that.
That makes the screws very easy to screw home. ThumpUp
