I have now come to the conclusion that the test board from issue 52 is broken.
I guess all the plugging and unplugging of the cables has not done it much good.
I have ordered issue 52, finger's crossed when it arrives that will sort it.

Darren

Have an AWSOME day and may the Force be with you always 😉

I'm stumped!! any ideas?

from what i have read the head motor is really the same as the foot motor so using the foot motor test should also be usable for the head.
also the head should power on during init, we just need to know more about the order in which the systems are checked on power up ....

You need to double check all your wires are labeled in the correct manner and then make sure there inserted into there correct sockets. Some assemblers have managed to reverse the head limit switch cables.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Ok I've gone back to issue 34 and done the check and it seems to work does that mean the MCU not working properly

That is the milliamps of the battery not the discharge amps which is the figure you need. Ask the shop you bought them from they should know the continuous discharge capacity of your batterys.

Some one posted a link to some Samsung 30Q batterys earlyer if you look at the battery spec on the 7th line down it says-

Discharge: 15A Max Continuous.

The above is what you need to find out.

Your battery supplier should be able to provide you with the Amperage output information(Amps).

Unfortunately they are just a general supplier off the internet and don't have that information, but I've now gone to 18650uk and bought Samsung 30Q Button Top which is 15A Max Continuous Discharge

Hi all, a bit of an update on my R2, Issue 52 arrived so I could change the circuit board, got it fitted today and he now works 😁 not fully but about 95% (voice control and projector not working)

In antomonous mode and patrol mode he did not like the tiled floor or tables (see video)

He works fine now, avoids tables and happy on the tiled floor.

I am happy now, had fun with him today (wife said he is noisey on the floor)
which he is, only wish deagostini had made his wheels out of rubber

Will address the other issues at a later date.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Darren

you seem to have the same problem as I have with mine - in autonomous mode, none of the front sensors in the body ad shoulders do anything. I was told to call CS for a replacement MCU

It is a weird one 🤔

Is yours fully working on the app?

I'm just happy he is working with the app,

I just need to get a new projector at some point once they become available 🙄
