Direct wifi or local wifi wont connect Options

I can’t get the direct WiFi mode or local WiFi mode to work, direct WiFi mode I get the below screen on my WiFi settings page on my tablet, says internet service not working, on local WiFi mode it won’t scan my qr code

Some home broadband routers have a pairing mode on them, without pressing the button on the home router first it won’t be able to connect.
Try having a look at the user guide again and start over.

On direct wifi, when it says connected, no internet, you need to press back on your phone and then click connect on the r2 app. R2 will chirp then be ready to be controlled. Also make sure you have got the light flashing on the back of r2d2s head before going through the connection setup on the app. On r2s front panel, Its either the 4th button down or the 5th button down. Just try pressing both then going through the app connection setup until you are able to connect. Hope this helps.
