Has anyone come across any reference books for the Akagi at all?I have found one in Russian & one that is made up from wikipedia articles but other than that or a generic book on Japanese carriers there doesn't seem to be anything, was hoping for an Anatomy of the Ship but they don't seem to do one. There are quite a few in Japanese Akagi ref books via eBay which are rarely found in the UK... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mo...amp;hash=item2a1161ebb2

The best I have seen is a combination of two - Model Art Akagi book (which also contains aircraft info and their paint schemes), and the 'The Maru Special #2 - Japanese Naval Vessels' which contains stacks of b/w photos, though the text of both books is Japanese. I've yet to see a UK Akagi reference book and certainly nothing available that I'm aware of in such as the Anatomy series.
