Double check all you labels are correct and that all the plugs are in the correct sockets and seated properly.

Can you also provide the full spec of the batterys your using please.

This particular issue seems to becoming a bit of common problem as posted on other threads but post your battery specs first

OK got a bit further, disconnected the power pack from the MCU, reconnected and now I got the head moving but it rather violently spins one way, then the other, then settles about a 1/4 rotation, not as I was expecting, but its getting past the post red now, also the head does not rotate when in "patrol mode" I don't have an android device to test app control, but the head does not seem right, the battiest are Samsung 30q's

Batteries look ok, but you have to recheck all your connections and look for any bent pins if all's ok you may have to change the MCU!!!

From looking at your video the limit switches look to be not working correctly the head is just banging into the buffer and you say that after reconecting the battery box more things started to work.

You need to do a complete check of all your connections thsi includes all head and body connections and also to double check that they are labeled correctly. A complete check will take around 2 hours to do unfortunatly.

I will do a complete strip and check, but the fact that the head is rotating so quickly and not like other videos, where the head rotates more smoothly, would point that the motor control is also not working properly I would assume...

If after a recheck of all conections labels and he is still acting in the same way we can then get onto replacement parts as I am not in front of your R2 I need to eliminate things one by one by asking.

Please can you not to request Free replacements in advance of actually being needed as It could mean that another customer may not then be able to be sent a replacement they actually need should the issue go out of stock.

Free replacements are for items that actually need to be replaced rather than on a “just in case” basis

Thank you for your support,

Mark

i know you mentioned that you have checked all your cables etc, but hear me out here;

someone on facebook noticed that one of the images in issue 97 shows one of the plugs actually back to front in the socket! so shows how easily a mistake can be made. double check you haven't inadvertently put a plug in a socket the wrong way around - they have tabs on the sides of the male plugs that line up with slots in the female socket.

i know it may sound like sucking eggs, but worth checking!
