Hi anyone else have a similar problem I've completed the model but the lightsabre eject mechanism only opens it won't close. The connections seem to be good (it worked at the test stage) and I removed the unit and opened it up to make sure that nothing was catching but it still persists. Only thging I did notice was a slight grinding sound after rdd2 boots up don't know if this is normal or it's the nylon gears in the tube.
Any suggestions gratefully received

You might want to check the gears run smooth and that they have not misaligned.

Hi thanks for responding.

I did think that but it looked ok when I opened it up and put the base back to the bottom of the tube. It ejects ok but won't retract and I've checked it's not obstructed.

I assume that they are as I tested it as per issue 53 and it worked fine then.
Can't test it again as the test cables were installed when it was complete.
