Hi, I am having some issues with my tempremental droid & could do with some advice/pointers: Firstly, it seems to complete the start-up sequence OK & i have been able to connect the Android app in direct wi-fi mode. 1 - Voice control, it seems VERY hit & miss when trying to give it voice commands. even the initial wake-up commands 'Hey R2dD2' or 'Good Morning' take 3 or 4 goes to get working. The the individual commands such as arms or lightsaber action are ignored 90% of the time. 2 - Holograms. I can get BOTH holograms to project, but only the Leia one completes. The Luke one seems to get interrupted each time it gets to the word 'Droids' - this seems to trigger voice control & kills the rest of the projection. even if i turn off voice control in the app, hitting this keyword seems to re-enable it 3 - Sensors. i have noticed that the sensors ONLY seem active in Patrol mode. If i am trying voice control & it mistakes my command & hears go forward (seems to be the default guess, regardless of what i actually said). However, this means that it hits an object & tries to keep going until i manually pick it up & turn round. In Patrol mode if it finds an obstacle, it seems to 'narrowly' avoid Any suggestions, comments greatly appreciated Thanks Well spin my nipple-nuts & send me to AlaskaCurrent Builds:McLaren MP4-23Finished007's Aston Martin DB5FinishedMillennium FalconR2-D2BTTF Delorean (Maybe)

Hi sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. 1/ Try talking slowly and clearly until R2 hears you also be mindful that accents can also affect how he hears you. 2/ This has been passed back to the developers and as soon as I have feed back I will update you. 3/ In voice and video modes it is yourself that is doing the controling by either using the screan on your chosen controler or by audio input. Audio input needs you to have R2 fully functioning and reacting to all your commands, so practice is the way to go here. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Thanks, for the reply: 1:- I have quite a neutral, non regional accent & tried fast, slow, loud & quiet & none really seems to make much difference. My daughter’s boyfriend also tried (again quite neutral) & it was all extremely hit & miss. I have several smart devices that have no problems with my voice. 2:- I asked around on the FB forum & of those that were able to get the hologram working at all, the consensus was that ‘droid’ triggered voice control & interrupted the playback. 3:- I assumed that manual control would be sensor less, but my main concern was when trying & failing with voice control. It will suddenly start going forward of it’s own accord, as if this was the command it detected. Unfortunately if it encounters an obstacle at this point, it will try to barge through, rather than turn around. When trying this, I have no manual control, so my only option is to pick him up - not ideal! By the way, does voice control generate any user accessible logs? Certainly ambient/background noise could be a factor in terms of R2's listening

We did make sure it was nice & quet, so ambient noise was not a factor here when testing Well spin my nipple-nuts & send me to AlaskaCurrent Builds:McLaren MP4-23Finished007's Aston Martin DB5FinishedMillennium FalconR2-D2BTTF Delorean (Maybe)

Maybe the clear plastic housing the mic is fitted in is obscuring too much? Could drill the hole in it open bigger? Building: Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Ford GT40, Gone in 60 seconds Eleanor mustang, Shelby Cobra Complete: R2D2, Red Bull RB7 RC, Battleship Bismarck, Shelby GT500 'super snake'

The Google Play Android App has been updated overnight to correct this problem. IOS devices should not be affected.
