Endangering an aircraft with a drone already carried an up to 5yrs Sentence. But just look at the chaos caused, delayed travel and missed connections and back logged onto other flights that might have room in what is already is a very busy period for air travel.

Can't believe they have not found them yet. They have now sent in armed police to shoot them down. Really feel sorry for passengers going on their holidays, and those who have had to be diverted to other locations.
Do hope they catch them.

These people need the maximum amount of time inside to realise their actions and the chaos caused along with the possibilities of the carnage they could have caused.

When Gatwick closed for the second time, UK airports were at maximum capacity and UK airspace was full so they were holding planes over France.

Will be interesting to see if drone laws are tightened and/or sentences increased after this. It must have cost millions.
