So Santa(the wife) left one of the Airfix Starter kits - 4 paints, paint brush and a tube of glue under the tree this year.
I haven't built a 'plastic' kit for literally 30 years, so though what the hell - here are the results - I only used what the starter kit supplied and nothing else (dont think the colours ae very accurate, but thats what it came with). Any way it was a fun diversion from eating too many chocolates.

Rich.

Looks good Rich and a nice result considering you haven't built a plastic kit in such a long time. The big question though is has it inspired you to build some more? Hope so.

Well done. ThumpUp

Nice result considering its a Starter set and used as supplied.

I bet loads of Airfix starter kits ended up as gifts as a result of Lidl having 7 different sets at 50% off for £4.99 each - Hopefully encouraged a few kids into model making.

I agree great value and the kit was very nicely tooled and had good details, the cockpit even had the gun sights and decals for the instrument panels

thanks
Rich.
