Hi Ronald

You use the black self tapping screws from issue 7 as stated in the official build.

If you mean which screws to assemble the 3 silver pieces together, then the build diary says the silver screws supplied with issue 7. Just from memory, I think they were also about 6mm long, but I could be mistaken.

I wish they'd be clearer in the magazines with which screws are to be used instead of having to drop in here all the time.

Thankfully, after a few issues, it becomes pretty clear as there is a pattern, but not everyone may see that.

Andy explained some things but still did not tell me which screw to use for the silver fittings not counting all of the black screws two of which are used to connect the fitting to the ankle PS the build diary is not clear on the type of
screws to use in issue 7 especially the ankle fitting Darth is correct on his post about fixing the screw problem the company are to put labels on each screw bag and what part it is used for

Hi Ronald

Below is the explanation for the use of the screws provided in issue 7 as per the Pm I sent to you last night.

In issue 7 you get 10 silver screws, 6 + the supplied nuts are used on the dome assembly leaving 4 screws, 2 more are used on the ankle parts leaving 2 spare. You will always have a spare screw from every assembly that usualy leaves a single screw but in this instance two assemblys equal 2 spares.

So just use the silver screws provided with Issue 7 to complete that stage of the build.

Andy

All the screws provided in issue 7 are the same length so use the same screws you used to assemble the dome to assemble the ankle detail parts.
