Thanks Jonny for your, kind words, Today I purchased some parts from Model Spares in the USA these were:- 1mm/1.6mm and 2mm dome nuts, I am going to put these on the DB5 to replace plastic ones and also to put them where there should be some, such as the cylinder head. 4 Pairs of 1mm thread ball joints ( I will mod the carb linkages ) And finally hose clamps, looks better than painting silver on the hoses. The whole lot cost $89 but hey you can not take it with you. I have managed to obtain very thin leather, with which I will cover the Dasboard. Hi MWG, Your build of this model is fantastic, and the extra mods are mind blowing. It's a credit to you sir, and I forsee this will become one of your defining builds. Truly excellent work my friend. P.S. By the way your are so right about handling the pieces using a pair of gloves, it stops the build becoming marked by natural moisture from the skin, and it's very hard to remove. I see you have adopted the same technique in your McLaren build as well. Well done mate! I look forward to seeing more.

Hi Ian, so far all the parts of the DB5 come already painted, I have used a brush on the small parts and paints Ive used have been Humbrol enamel and Citadel acrylic. I will be using oil paints with turpintine for some enhancements(But I will explain as I go along) Warthog on his build uses Aclad 2 etc fab paints. (have a look at his thread) hope this is a help to you.
