Hi all
Now Im onto issue 9, cutting oar slots, the instructions says cut slots evenly, ok that makes sence but...
How far from bow/stearn should the slots start, how far appart ok if i know the bow/stearn distance i can work out the spacing :)
How deep should it go, as at this point if a make an error it will hard to hide :) Drux

I'm sure that the instructions on spacing are given in the issues you are reading at the moment. Mine are put away somewhere, it's a long time since I was on that part of the build. Hope this helps. TIS

Hi Drux,
the first image on page 11 in the mag should show it. (I hope the page number is the same as in the german edition) Starting at the bow behind the first rib to the second last. Mark the begin and the end, measure that length, and divide it by 7, not 8. Now you have the distance between ever slot.
Take a look at my launch, maybe that helps a little.

I hope I could get myself understood.
Greetings, TimmMy build diary hereCurrent Build:HMS Victory
