Hi,

Has anyone who subscribes received the gun-port framing planks in issue 35? All the planks I received seem to be the thicker 'hull-planking' planks

[Edit 2011/07/11 13h21]: Corrected the issue nr.

Hi StefanDV

I received my lot of mag including 34 last week I also did not get the gun port planks. Spoke to CS who has arranged for another copy to be send to me. I stressed at least 3 time that the planks I was missing were 8 off 1,5x4x300mm.

I am waiting to see what happens.

It is issue 35, we're supposed to receive the last couple of framing planks Cursing Why can't they just get it right. I'm going to call them and say I need another issue 34, hopefully they can get that right!

occasionally there is a mix up with parts, but if you call them and let them know, they post you a new one almost immediately. I had 2 part 30, and they sent me a new issue right away, no problem.

So far, I have been happy with the customer service, as it is generally better than most we have to deal with over here.

There appears to be confusion as to which issue contains what, and what should be used for what....

Issue 34 contains eleven 1.5x4mm planks; the 'Where parts fit' info clearly says that the 11 planks are enough to complete the entry ports on both sides and all the gun ports on the starboard side.

Issue 35 contains a further eight 1.5x4mm planks to complete the portside and stern portholes.

Thanks Tomick,

Thanks for your reply, you are 100% correct. My problem is that the parts accompanying issue 35 does not contain any 1.5x4mm planks.

Phoned Customer services just now and they'll send a replacement issue BigGrin, but only in 21 days time Crying

Hi guys.

No complains from my side, I receive all my parts from day 1.
Sorry about your shortfall, I can say in the past post office lost my magazines, I reported it to CS and with no tantrums CS replaced them. 10/10 for Jacklin.

Hi Guys
I think you need to check issue 35. I had problems with issue 27 and CS re-issued 27, still wrong, so made a plan with spares that I had. Issue 35 does not have the spare 8 x 1.5mm x 4mm to do the frames for the gunports??, so will have to contact CS again. They are very helpful and prompt, but it appears they don't check the parts list before distribution. Holding thumbs they get it right.

Except for this one, I also did not receive the correct part 31 (issue 14 I think) they sent me 4 replacement copies - all wrong, so I had to make the part myself. Same with the thicker planks which goes on top of the 2nd deck support, didn't even bother contacting them.

Let's see what transpires

Hi All

I received my replacement issue 35 today. Still no 1,5 x 4mm planks. I have asked CS to send me a copy of issue 34 which has the correct planks and they agreed. All I have to do is wait another 2 to 3 weeks.
