Hi i just completed R2D2 and he wont work. Do i have the right batteries?

There are several batteries available in the link you’ve provided, but it’s looks like the batteries you’ve purchased are protected ones, they should be Unprotected.

The spec you need:

Type: 18650 lithium-ion batteries
3.7v (or 3.6v) 'nominal'
Button-top
At least 3 Amps capacity discharge
At least 2000mAh capacity - (recommend 2600-2800mAh)
"Unprotected" battery type
