Hello everbody

For my first post i have a question about issue 91 Infrared Sensor

i try the sensor alone with little circuit as noted on instruction and it's working fine, but after i insert the Infrared Sensor in the leg and remake the test the green light was on all time with or without obstacle, only a little difference of shining when i put something in the beam.

Does is it normal or what is the way to fixe that ?

Regards from France

Cheers

The green light should stay on all the time and only turn off when a large gap appears under the sensor like a stair well.
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

it's the case when the circuit is not screewed in the feet, but when the board is attached in the feet the green light was dimmed if open space is in front and shinny light when it's an obstacle

Finally, I find the answer

I made the test with the legs sensor and now it's the same as the front leg

I shutdown my desk light and this fix the trouble as I test the 2 legs in summer I don't use desk light it's working but now I have to use it so I think it's a parasite light who make IR make shining the green light.

Now I finish to build r2-d2 and he detect hole behind him correctly

Thank you for trying to help

Cheers
