I have now completed my R2D2. I have followed the instructions for power up. Not good news. The status light on the front worked, showing red, the level indicators to the side of this also worked, the status light and led at the rear also worked. However, it didn't turn it's head, nor did it move. I tried the buttons on the front panel and got it to move it's arms and raise/lower the light sabre.

I have trawled through the various posts on the forum for answers. So far I have taken the batteries out, double checked them, they all show 4.11v, this is the link to the one's that I have purchased https://18650.uk/product/samsung-30q-button-top/ . I have unplugged all the cables, double checked that I have labelled them correctly, I have checked them for bent pins and then re-connected them to the various sockets on the boards, making sure that they are securely seated.

When I now turn it on all I get is the status light at the front showing red. Nothing else.

Help!

Thanks.

Could you borrow a voltage meter to check what power is comming out of the battery box by testing the two lead end pins.

Have re-checked cabling. Batteries all show a voltage of 4.10v. Have checked battery box, it gives a total output of 12v. R2D2 powers on, red status light on, beeps when buttons pressed, no movement, no other status lights or led's are on.
