Cheers guys,

Today I joined the front and rear section of the fuselage. No great problems in this are. I taped it together and glued it in sections using Tamiya extra thin. Added minimal filler but nothing too bad. I left to dry and then sanded .

I also had a play around with the Radar bay. Removing and adding wiring and pipe work.

Nice work Chris and looking good! I'm loving that you are adding more scratchbuilt detail throughout your build. It'll really help take the finished model to the next level.

Very well done. Cool ThumpUp

Cheers guys, thanks for looking in.

Kev - I enjoy adding the extra scratch detail. Not as good as some scratch builders can do. I have seen some heavily detailed 1/72 builds and I would struggle to do that detail on 1/32 lol.

I've added a few more pipes to the speed brakes and the rails to the rear of the intakes. I also added a little more pipe work and wiring to the nose wheel.

I also re-scribed some of the lost panel lines and added the none existent panel lines on the bottom.

I then gave it a quick go over along the joints, the nose wheel bay and the speed brakes with Grey auto primer decanted into my Airbrush. Then a quick flat down to see how the joints were before I carry on.

Cheers guys for the nice comments.

I have done a few little additions to the main wheel gear bays. A little pipework and wiring just to take the plainness out of the rather sparse originals.

Hi Guys,

Have had a while away for family reasons. But have got back to it.

I've spent a little time over last couple weeks doing some of this build to keep me occupied. I started with putting some rivet detail in the places it was either lost or not moulded. Then gave it a coat of Primer and left for a week to dry.

I've also built up the ordnance and primed them. Thats really all I've done.

Great to see you back working on this Chris, hope everything is ok with your family. Nice work on the re-scribing and now that those wheel bays have had a coat of primer, all of your scratchbuilt detail looks like it was always there as part of the kit moulding!

Excellent work, well done. Looking forward to your next update already. Cool ThumpUp

That's looking really good Chris. All the panel lines and scratch built parts really come to life with some primer on them. Top job!

Thanks guys much appreciated.
Have ordered the 2 base coat colours so should be with me in few days. Need to order the flap set soon too.

Had to email revell as I have a missing clear sprue which only comes with the gr1. I checked my ecr and it doesn't have it. They say should take 4-6 weeks so fingers crossed I get it sooner.
