Looking good though, I had seen and heard of many reports of the fit problem, so I squared up both the upper and lower rear fuselage halfs then glued the lower rear fuselage to the nose 1st and then attached the upper half, a bit long winded but it stoped the 'gap' forming Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Looking great Nem, I didn't get too much of a gap as noticed a little creep early so added a slither of plastic strip and smoothed it out before joining. My main problem was the profile behind the cockpit. It seemed to be slightly different in roundness.
Taking shape though.

Chris Hi Chris and thanks for looking in. The profile behind my cockpit is spot on, its either side I have gaps, nothing some Mr Surfacer 500 wont cure!

Air brakes fitted, wheel well covers fitted and the air intakes. Thank whoever for Mr Surfacer! This kit was not designed to be displayed in flight even if it does give you that option, the parts are a lousy fit!! Nemesis attached the following image(s):

Filler work on the fuselage is finished, panel lines scribed and the tail is fitted. One that is dry I can sort of the gaps and get on with the rest of the build. Nemesis attached the following image(s):

The initial build is done, time for primer. Weapons load will be built and added at the end along with the seats and canopy. Next major part is to to find a base the right size and desertize it! Nemesis attached the following image(s):

I can see a few domestics breaking out here as chopping boards go missing from kitchens all over the country. One good thing though Nem is that it won`t tip over, just gonna need a big shelf. Are you going to dio the base? Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

That's a substantial looking base liking the angle the aircraft is placed at as well. Al
