Hi Everyone!
Hoping someone can help, I've read through the forums but don't see anyone describing a similar issue to mine.
To start off, Initially everything worked fine, powered up, connect to app and was off moving, sound working, camera working etc, very slight issue with the head turning very slowly, figured I'd check that out later (it moved fine during the self test so I put it down to the app control being the issue), turned it off and went to bed.
Now when I go to turn R2 on, it won't complete the startup. In fact it won't do anything at all unless I hold in the power button.
When holding in the power button it jerks forward, red light comes on the front and the head starts to rotate, but it some point during the roatation the red light starts to flash and the rotation stops (it will just keep flashing at me if I hold the button in).
Obviously I'm not meant to hold the power button in, so perhaps it then thinks I am trying to turn it off?
I've checked that there isn't an issue with the head rotation by lifting the head and moving it along a peg, there is no hindrance in the rotation and doesn't appear to be an issue with either sensor.
Tried plugging it into charge incase that was the issue, but no lights came on to indicate it was charging, so took the batteries back out and went through the charging process again (they were barely discharged but worth a try)
I've carefully went over all the wiring twice, removing and re-seating everything just to be sure, but get the same behaviour.
These are the batteries I have:

I don't have any tools for testing voltages or anything like that, everything has been trial and error.
It's almost like everything is fine, but it doesn't want to stay powered on unless I hold the button down.
Anyway, hope someone has an idea!!
Thanks
