I am getting close to the end of my build and have run into two vexing problems that I was hoping to get some advice on - I appear to be missing some screws, and not sure how to proceed. None of the hardware seems like something I can find suitable replacements for at a hardware store.
In issue 75, p15 step 3, you are supposed to "drive the 2.5 x 4mm screws into the holes in the cranked supports." This isn't missing hardware so much as none of the screws provided -- 4mm or otherwise -- seem to work here. The holes are too large and not threaded, and so the screws just fall into the holes and nothing holds them in place. I simply can't fathom what's supposed to happen here.
In issue 78, p13 step 2, you screw hinges to bracket with 2 x 11mm screws. I am not at all sure I received the correct screws for this step. The photography is not clear enough to show what the screw should look like, except that it's black. But in the official build video, it's silver. Either way, I'm guessing it should be a long shaft with just threading on the end to allow the hinge to turn freely, though that's poorly illustrated in the instructions. I don't have two of anything appropriate (though I do have ONE such screw that's about 11mm long and mostly shaft with threading at the end -- but only one and I'd need two. I suspect I was not given the right hardware??
Can anyone steer me in the right direction to solve these two issues?

Hi It maybe that you have the two supports that you are trying fix too, upside down. Try taking them off and turn them around, as one end will have the threaded holes which need to be at the top to fix the screws in. As for 78, you should have had the screws for that in issue 76. Regards Mark

Mark thank you -- the brackets were indeed upside down, I can't believe I overlooked that (and didn't eventually find it on my own...). So thanks, fixed. However, I am pretty careful about the hardware from issue to issue and do not seem to have the necessary screws for this step in 78. Is there a way to get a replacement set so I can move forward? The screws are actually 9mm not 11mm as stated, but if you don’t have them, then order a replacement issue 76 from c/s. Number can be found on the inside front cover of the magazine. Regards Mark
