Hi All

Well I completed my build, bought the right batteries, went through the charging and activation process (not sure what this actually does) but when I then finally got to switch the power on for the first time absolutely nothing happened! No lights, no beeps, no movement, nothing Confused

I've opened him up again and checked the connections and they all seem to be fine but still nothing happens when I switch him on.

I've checked the voltage at the output pins of the battery box and I'm getting 12.49 volts so the batteries seem ok.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hi
If you can let me know which batteries you’ve purchased, even a link to them, just to check you have the right ampage. It going to be a case of elimination.

Many thanks
Mark

Hi Mark

Thanks for responding so quickly. However, it turns out I am a total muppet! I was expecting the initialisation sequence to start when I switched on the on/off switch underneath. I hadn’t realised that this only happens when you press the button at the bottom of the bank of switches on the front. Once I did that he sprung into life and is now working perfectly!

So apologies for wasting your time. I should have RTFM!

Thanks again BigGrin

I had exactly the same issue.
I don't think it mentions pressing the button in the magazine regarding the start up procedure, so anyone working from the the magazines will have this issue.
