I Still need help. I have had problems with the completed R2. When I power up the head slams to the left, then right and does nothing. If I disconnect the head motor, which works on the test board, and turn the head manually it works fine (minus any head movement). I have contacted Deagostini and they replaced the MCU, which arrived today. I have just fitted the unit and I am getting the same results. I have checked the cables so many time I could do it blindfolded now. can anyone suggest what I do next, please?

Hi m8
Exactly the same issue as you spent a few hours replacing mcu and issue exactly the smae
I had a spare motor that i got when i thought that was issue, replaced motor and now working as it should do
Might be worth trying that as it fixed it for me

Thanks Fergin. It's nice to know that replacing the motor could fix the problem. I have ordered a replacement, just waiting for it to be delivered.
