Hi Shipmates, I'm a bit confused how many barrels supposed to be fitted to the deck and where? In issue 19 the picture shows 2 sets of barrels at the forecastle deck. However in Issue 117, where they should actually fitted shows one set on quarter deck, front of the compass binnacle. To make it more confusing the magazine shows one set to be received with issue 19, however I received two sets. I guess it still can be some personal preference how many and were they fitted, but does somebody know what is the situation on the actual ship? Thanks in advance. gingerale75 attached the following image(s): Happy building! Laszlo Finished builds: HMS Victory, HMS Victory Cross-Section

You can place them to your choosing as they were often moved around the deck

I did not use paint, only the dark varnish. I hope this helps. Check my diary. Happy building! Laszlo Finished builds: HMS Victory, HMS Victory Cross-Section

I found 1 MM fingernail tape on Amazon. I did have to use black marker on it because there was no straight black. But I did find some black with silver specks in it. Painted finish then they are black as shown in the Official Build diary. Regards Alan
