Thanks guys, much appreciated .

I've given the fuselage and the fuel tanks a go over with the green grey camo for the base coat(not done an amazing job as its mostly covered over) Then it will have a coat of Klear ready for some wear and tear effects. But not quite yet as need a few other things need doing first.

Thanks guys.
@Spal It's not staying camo Al, the original GR.1 was painted this colour but when the gulf war kicked off they painted them quick over the camo. You can see it on various pics where the paint has worn off or chipped along the leading edges.

Yes Chris, the camo was overpainted in haste with Desert Pink which can be seen in the below pic particularly on fin..though not all had the 'rush job' camo overpaint.

Excellent work so far Chris and great that you've gone to the effort of painting the camouflage first to get the right effect before over-spraying the pink. It's that sort of thinking that pays dividends in the final look of the model. Just be careful that you don't fully obliterate the camo with the pink and lose the desired effect, very easy to do, though I'm sure you'll make a great job of it.

Well done, certainly going to be keeping an eye on this one. Cool ThumpUp

Hi Guys,

Have started on butchering the wings now. I removed the flaps and spoiler from the starboard wing. Then bent and test fitted the flap housing.

I have also painted the ordnance ready for the decals.

Tonight guys I soldered the flap housing together which was my first time soldering and went quite well. Then I installed the flap housing and glued the wing halfs together. Then I fitted the spoilers to the wing.
