Ive Build my R2D2 and nothing is working, Not getting any volts on the connector to main board, Ive Bought 6 x 18650 5300mAh 3.7v Li-ion, however these have a protection circuit, they are button top! but could these be the problem, ive checked my wiring and its correct..
Need Help!!

Yes your batteries are the initial problem as they are the unsuitable "Protected" type, its also possible they don't have adequate capacity discharge amperage of over 3 amps

Once the batteries have been swopped and your still having problems, we can then investigate further to get your R2 running.

I'm not so sure I would put my trust in those as the Samsung 30Q's I've seen are generally 15A rather than 20A such as the one's I noted and also these: https://18650.uk/product/samsung-30q-button-top/
There is lot of fake 18650 batteries out there that claim all sorts of numbers..think I would give 'banggood' a wide berth..

Another guy on here bought those Q30 20 ampers and had nothing but trouble with them untill he got the 15 amp ones. It would seem the 20 ampers are more than likely counterfeit. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
