A little more done. I sprayed the craft with some chipping fluid before spraying it with a lighter grey. Using a very small brush I started chipping areas to give a worn effect. Doesn’t look much at the moment as the weathering will be done with oils and pigments once the main craft has been glued together. I also lightly sprayed with a rust brown over the entire landing craft, just to give a subtle inner rusting effect. The next step was to attach the cables to the crank and ramp pullies, now most of the airbrushing has been done. This was very fiddly.

The landing craft main three pieces were then glued together. I have left the ramp off for the moment as this will be easier to paint individually as well as easier access to the inner area. The decals will be applied next before the main weathering and colouring is done. More soon.

Looking really good, love the chipping effect. I use hairspray for mine, and also rock salt works well.
